CLERGY ADVISOR

FATHER DIMITRIOS LEE

Father Dimitrios J. Lee is the Assistant Priest of Saint Sophia Cathedral. Father Dimitrios was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Robert and Maria Lee. He is a graduate of Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, holding the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity.

CALLIE KAMBANIS

Callie is a born-and-bred Saint Sophia gal, and is honored to support the YAL as one of its Co-Presidents. She enjoys trying new foods/activities, spending time with friends and family, and proofreading. On Sundays, you can usually find her chanting with Saint Sophia’s Byzantine choir. She currently works as a Regulatory Consultant for a D.C.-based firm that provides food and beverage labeling support to the food industry. She has a Bachelors in Nutritional Science from UMD, College Park..

ELIZABETH MALLIAKOS

A Maryland native, Elizabeth is a graduate of Towson University for undergrad and UMBC for her Master’s in IO Psychology. In her free time Elizabethenjoys running, hiking, cooking and exploring local wineries in the DMV.

STAMI WILLIAMS

Originally from metro Atlanta, Stami works for a political fundraising committee after six years on Capitol Hill. Stami holds a B.S. in Communication from Kennesaw State University and an M.P.S. in Political Management from The George Washington University.

HOPE LOPRESTI POULAKOS

Hope was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. She moved to the DC area where she attended college at the Catholic University of America. Hope is currently an oncology nurse in Virginia and is also studying to achieve her master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University. She recently married her husband Will, whom she met though YAL.

NOELLE WRIGHT

Noelle moved to the DC are from Georgia in 2014. She is the Events and Community Director at local Georgetown bakery Baked & Wired, and serves as a part time program manager for the Orthodox Christian Network (OCN).
